Australia attained a full vaccination rate of 80% for those aged 16 years and above on Saturday. Prime Minister Scott Morrison called it a "magnificent milestone".
The country of 25 million people has moved towards living with the coronavirus by means of widespread vaccinations. Vaccinations are voluntary on the federal level; however, Australias states and territories announced mandatory measures for several occupations and workers. The unvaccinated are prohibited from some activities, like dining out or at concerts.
